Something we’ve noticed traveling through all these states: people are SO MUCH BETTER and kinder to each other. We stopped in WY for fuel and food and the gentleman in front of us bought all the kids an ice cream cone. We were so shocked and touched. The man just radiated great energy and positivity and made all the kids’ day!

As we’ve traveled, people just strike up conversation, are considerate of others and generally look out for each other better. THIS is exactly why we’re doing what we’re doing: to raise them around better people, and to lead by example on how to treat fellow humans ♥️

Well friends, we did it! Our dreams are coming true! Years of preparation and planning (and a million hurdles) has led us to this week! We got a bus, fixed it up, packed all our stuff, loaded the bus and sold our home! We’re on the way to living the life we’ve always talked about together: a homestead where we can raise kids to be self sufficient, teach them to not have to rely on society’s failing structures and raise them around like minded people! Stay tuned for our journey towards self sufficiency!

Made a simmer pot today because this rain has got me DEPRESSED and I needed something bright and happy. Also added apples and cloves, absolutely recommend this if you’re feeling down. Our house smells amazing.
