We were best friends when we were little kids, and after 10 years apart, we were re-united on facebook (or as we call it, “fatebook”) with a mission from GOD! (Actually, no, but we like the dramatics.) We lived completely separate lives for 10 years before we finally got back together over beers and bar food. The connection was instant, it was like no time had passed at all. That’s a sign of true
friendship. One of us came up with the idea to meet up at Sway’s house to cook stuffed mushrooms and filet mignon. (which we left in the broiler…fail.) Five bottles of wine later…we ended up in the “relaxation station” in the pool and had one of those drunk ah-ha moments: We have so much in common and it all comes together when we’re cooking. From that point on, we met once a week to share recipes and vent about life. We had so much fun, we felt like sharing our experiences with you in hopes of inspiring you to re-kindle your favorite old relationships the old fashioned way, by breaking bread.
