rocery budget is around $300.00 for a family of four. I also started learning about Genetically Modified Organisms and the health toll it's having on friends and family around me. I watched the movie, "Genetic Roulette." I then researched all the scientists and doctors in the film which are all credible. I encourage everyone to research on their own. After this movie I began cleaning out my house of everything that was not organic origin. If it was in a baggy and I didn't know the source, I pitched it. My husband of course was upset with all the food in the large garbage container. LOL I paid for all those groceries with my work income. He didn't say much except it annoyed him until I shared the movie with him. Then he understood. At this same time, about a month I began writing companies of the foods I kept in our cupboards. I asked specifically about GMO's. Most were forth coming and honest. Some were deceptive. After I switched our house to organically, non GMO I also started noticing a 360 degree change in my son. I was able to hold his hand, he would let me hold him and cradle him for longer than a couple seconds. His daily tantrums decreased and have stopped all together now unless GMO foods are given to him. He doesn't beat himself in the head, no more daily banging his head on the floor or wall. These tantrums were non-consolable. Now he's just a happy boy, dancing and singing, I get hugs and kisses. And now when he gets mad, terrible three year old, we are usually able to talk him through it. These behaviors were the reality of his first two years, I used to cry daily because I couldn't comfort him and I believe this attributed to him not being to be still and breast feed.
