The reality is that not every bird makes a come back. This sweet girl was bullied once moved out to the porcelain coop with her siblings. I expect along with the pecking she wasn’t getting enough food/ nutrients and had developed a limp.

She is now better than ever but I’m not sure if I’m willing to move her back just yet!

Happy Memorial Day friends!

Today was spent honoring my brothers and sisters that made the ultimate sacrifice for us to live in the land of the free!

The best way to honor them is to be a good human 🇺🇸❤️

Below is SGT Sanchez, who I served with at Ft. Bliss. At one point I was his Troop senior medic. SGT Sanchez died in a LMTV training accident. Though he didn’t die at war, he died a true American hero. He embodied every quality of a soldier and the best part, he was a good person too. The last time I saw him, I’ll never forget to giant smile he had on his face as we passed in the hallway & offered greetings. No matter how stressed he was he was always smiling. He had just became a father and then never came home. I pray God wraps his arms tightly around his family today. Rest easy SGT Sanchez. You are missed dearly.
