Dozer had another seizure this afternoon. This is what happens after he “comes out” of the seizure. He wanders around in a confused manner with a ball in his mouth. The ball is locked tightly in there, as he’s still having some tremors and his mouth is still “snapping closed “. We keep the ball handy to prevent him from injuring himself and accidentally chomping on anything else. After the confusion state he begins the fast pacing stage throughout the house. He finally drops the ball and can pace anywhere from 15-30 minutes or longer depending on the severity of the seizure. Then my sweet Dozer will find a nice soft comfy spot and have a long and well deserved rest period. He sees a vet regularly is on medications. He has Addison’s disease and his bloodwork is monitored closely. As any homesteader knows our animals are our life♥️
