We are a small family farm, producing vegetables and fruit for our local market. We are at the Roberts Creek Community Market.

This is the first picking of sorghum, bundled and ready to dry. Some of the stocks were 10 feet tall!

It has only taken 50 years. We moved this tree from Coquitlam in a pot, planted it here in 1976, and this year it has pears!

What a beautiful spring morning. The work on the dead hedge is going well, and the rhubarb is ready for its first picking.

We are getting ready for Seedy Saturday at Roberts Creek Community Hall on Saturday March 21, 11:00 to 3:00. Rhubarb is divided and in bags, French sorrel plants are potted up, ( a favourite year round green ) and also potted up are onion and garlic starts. We will also have happy red wigglers!

The sap is running, the sap is running!! Tapped our broad leaf maples today, soon there will be sap in pots on the stove.

Tomorrow is market day! We will have whole wheat bread and sourdough rye bread and fresh ground flour for sale. Thanks to the elk there won’t be a lot of greens. The chickens are beginning to lay again. See you tomorrow afternoon.
