We are a local farm, producing drug-free, vegetable fed, pasture raised eggs. Armor farms raises happy, healthy chickens under the most natural conditions.

A natural environment helps our chickens produce the most nutritious egg possible. The Armor family has been raising chickens for over 30 years, starting in the desert of Arizona, and moving to the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains in Western North Carolina in 1990. The Farm is located at 550 Wadham Place in Franklin NC, so stop by if you want to buy some fresh eggs, or call them up at (828) 524-9295. The Armor family's main guiding principle is "a happy chicken lays a healthy egg." Under this mantra, they have been providing their chickens with true free range space, fresh grass, vegetables, and nutrients. The chickens range an area of 52 acres that are bordered by two creeks. The eggs that come from these chickens are rich in omega 3, B-complex vitamins, and other micronutrients. The Armor family includes nine Great Pyrenees dogs that roam the farm night and day, protecting the flock. The family is highly committed to local community and farming values, and want their product to always be as fresh as possible. To that end, they stay local and spend local.
