I Am So UPSET Jollibee Subject: Complaint

Branch in Complaint: Jollibee Sta. Mesa near PUP. Date: March 3, 2013, around 9pm. Isn't my reason too obvious yet?

Together with My brother and my 2 year old nephew, we ordered burger stake, 2 orders of Chicken Joy with a bowl of macaroni soup and sundae. While almost done eating my brother was enjoying his macaroni soup then noticed a thick plastic that can scratch cut a throat or even your intestine for any sensitive soft part after taking a spoonful of soup...A hard plastic with a size long of a forefinger

.. I was shock and upset thinking that what if he totally swallowed it?! Or what if that bowl of soup was given to my 2 year old nephew which would have caused more trouble?! I called the attention of the manager who is so hilariously thought of still offering us a replacement of the soup, who would want to still have a bowl of soup with a plastic on it, right?.. Is that another attempt since the first plastic was not a success to be swallowed?! A medical assistance was offered (well that's the right thing to do, yes!) but I don't feel there's urgency to do that since it was just "almost Swallowed" but parts and pieces that was not noticed that we don't know might have been already swallowed ... I asked the manager to see and check if that plastic has similar to one of the soup's ingredients packaging which she presumptuously agreed that it could really be but they don't want me to see the packaging so I could check it for myself; giving me so much alibi like their practicing FIFO and the bags has gone to the deepest part of the garbage, cannot be located, they cannot let me see the packaging for any company policy, purposes and procedures... So much alibis!!! since they're not letting me see to compare the material of the plastic then I asked for an incident report.. Report was made and all but they did not hand me the report yet coz they want to reproduce a copy of the report, but when the managers came back, one of the manager handed me a phone and told me that the senior manager of the branch would like to talk to me over the phone. So I spoke with the manager named lala if I could recall her name right...The Senior manager asked what Do i need the report for? which is obviously i will use if in case some problems would arise medically! That is our right as a consumer and why I should be ask that question anyway?! Its for our protection of course... And she asked what's my plan, how would I want it to be resolve .. Then I asked back,how it will be resolve if proven that that plastic is true and indeed part of the packaging that was on the soup? Then she insultedly asked "is it for the money?" Whoa! Adding insult to the injury! So I replied "bakit anong tingin nyo samin mukang mga hampaslupa na kailangan ng Pera?!" ... (If so then I should have demanded for a Php100,000.00x of the receipt that I paid for or have demanded for a lifetime supply of Jollibee products, or a branch or a lifetime birthday party treat for my nephew since he is so fond of Jollibee! ) all i asked is for an incident report that we were there, ordered food and reported a soup with a hard plastic on it! These people are making it more complicated! ... Plus I don't really think that there should really be a plastic on that soup, isn't?!? And the thing how it was said "hinde naman pala nalunok.. Almost swallowed Lang" the heck! Is the story would differ if it swallowed e Kung Ang in question e yung sanitary standard of preparing the food?! Should I not be upset since "hinde naman pala nalunok"?! Muntik Lang?!... Should I not be upset now that I'm not sure how you guys preparing our favorite Jollibee Products that we thought that we should not worry coz all your staffs are well trained and facilities are sanitized enough for us not to worry or should I now thought that the macaroni soup is being prepared beside a trash bin and that would explain why that plastic came forth and part of that soup?...check your staffs! Trained them well! Not all customers are aftering for some monetary settlement! I was not even refunded for the money that I paid for it...I should have done and asked for that since we did not get what we have paid for!... We are demanding for a better service else dont operate at all..Who could have thought how hazardous that plastic is if swallowed!? Really Jollibee?! Will you say it's a human error or a negligence?! Our family is a huge fan of Jollibee but you just made us so upset because of this incident.... People who are responsible for this should be reprimanded and should not be working for a family -themed fast food like Jollibee ... I AM SO UPSET!!!!!
