I’m trying not to complain about the rain because we DESPERATELY need it😅 so I guess instead I’ll just be thankful we have an almost completed barn to get the mares and babies out of this yucky cold stretch of weather🙏🏻

Well our last foal of the season sure made a memorable entrance into the world.
I woke up and checked cameras to find Bunny in destress. I ran out there and after evaluating the situation I see that bunny is in labour with one hoof and a nose poking out. Sac is broken and I can’t find the other foot. I go into full emergency mode. Called Trent to get him to check the cameras to see how long she had been pushing for and to call the vet, call my sister, call his sister, just call the whole damn Calvary😅
Thankfully from what little research I’ve done on the subject, I was able to get the baby pushed back in and maneuver the leg up into position and help mama with pulling the foal on her next contractions.
Miraculously both mama and baby seem to be doing well. Her big beautiful palomino stud c**t shot up and nursed faster than our other two c**ts born this year.
Needless to say I am very happy that foaling season is wrapped up with three beautiful healthy stud c**ts and three wonderful healthy mamas 🙏🏻

Lainey was bred and lightly started by Dow Ranch as a two year old. Had a rope swung off her and checked cows. Has spent 3.5 months of reining training with Celine Gobet and will have another month of rope/heel o matic training under her saddle by sale time!

Lainey is as athletic as they come and has a promising performance horse career ahead of her. She ready to take in any direction whether that’s reining, cow horse, ranch riding, breakaway or heeling! She’s got a big stop, good start on her spins, picks up leads, ties, trailers, good for feet. No vices in this girl.
