Today, on Memorial Day, our hearts are heavy with remembrance, but also overflowing with gratitude. For our family, this day isn't just a date on the calendar—it’s a daily reality. In 2015, Chloe & Kamryn lost their father, SSG Willie Best Jr., while he was serving on active duty. While his passing was not in combat, his choice to wear the uniform and dedicate his life to serving this country is a sacrifice we honor every single day.
This past Friday, we had the opportunity to work an event at Midland Valley High School, and we were completely blown away. They were running for 24 hours straight to honor and remember those who served and passed.
In a moment that was absolutely beautiful and deeply moving, this wonderful group invited Kamryn to ride the mile that was dedicated specifically to honoring her dad. ❤️
