Club 609 in Joplin Mo.

Walking into club 609 it had the coolest atmosphere. There were hanging lights and art all over the place. The lighting was dim but light enough where you could still see everything.
I got soup, Salad and their cajun pasta.

Soup: it was a chicken tortilla soup. It had the perfect amount of flavor, and the portion size was just right. it had quite a few different types of veggies in it, and just the right amount of chicken. It was just tangy enough and had the perfect amount of seasoning. It had a little baked shredded cheese cracker which was very interesting!

Salad: the salad itself was good, but I have never been to a restaurant that gives you enough ranch. This also came with the Little baked cheese cracker!

Cajun Pasta: I wish I had not gotten so full off of the appetizers, because this pasta was delicious. I did have to add salt, but otherwise it was seasoned to perfection. With Cajun pasta it’s either too spicy or not spicy enough. This may be the first time I’ve had it and the spice was just right. It was enough spice to leave my mouth warm, but it wasnt uncomfortable in the slightest. Another thing about buying pasta, there’s never enough sauce. This Cajun pasta had the perfect amount of sauce, and it came with bowtie noodles. Every bite was full of that delicious Cajun flavor!

Thai time : Joplin Mo

You walk in to the quaint little restaurant to see happy faces, and authentic decor. The restaurant is very small so there is very limited seating.

I ordered Thai tea, steamed dumplings and pad see ew.
I have gone to quite a few different Thai restaurants around the four states, but this one for me takes the cake.

Pad see ew:
The proportion of sauce, noodles, meat and veggies were absolutely perfect. The flavor was sweet with a light tangy touch, and the veggies were perfectly cooked. (Especially the broccoli).

Dumplings:
I’m a sucker for steamed dumplings, but they have to be done right. These dumplings wanted to fall apart in my mouth, and they had just the right amount of meat for the filler. The sauce they give you to dip was just the icing on the cake.

Thai tea:
This Thai tea was very sweet, which isn’t for everybody, but I really enjoyed it. Through the sweetener I could still taste the actual tea flavor which is definitely a plus.

The food was ready within 15 minutes and it was heavenly. The only thing keeping this restaurant from being perfect is the bathroom and the limited seating. However, given the space they have to work with in that building I think they have done a wonderful job.
