Farmstead sales will be unavailable from Jan 29- March 5. Andrew and I will be away charging our batteries. Once we are home, i will be busy with plant starters in the greenhouse while Andrew works in the sugar house to prepare for making our delicious maple syrup.
Although, we have the best farm/house sitters while we are away, we are not asking them to do sales. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Stay warm, happy and healthy!

Look at the beef and pork! The color is amazing! I may keep the steak for myself…..and I don’t particularly love steak. Kaden is grilling burgers tonight. Super excited!

Once again, the pork does not disappoint. The bacon is superior. Really!!!….I have proof! The farmstead has many satisfied customers. 😋

I’m confident once you try our products you’ll be amazed at the difference in comparison to store bought meat. Not only in appearance, but in texture and most importantly, taste. The quality is stellar!

The steers and piggies are back from market and are now residing in our freezers! We have a lot of tasty, fine quality meats for sale. We offer whole chickens, as well. Please reach out if you’re interested!

And that’s a wrap on our wreath and brush season. Thank you to all our customers for making this an amazing time and for the support! We have seen good friends and met new acquaintances as well. It’s been a blessing and we are super grateful for each and every one of you who choose our farmstead for your balsam products. We hope to see you again next holiday season. Happy Holidays!

No hate please, but Andrew and I are not huge fans of Christmas tunes. In the greenhouse we listen to classic rock. Ironically, our 26 year old son told us the “best” station. I think Lennox approves of our taste in music. It’s giving us beach vibes today making us anxious for our trip to the Atlantic coast in a couple months!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends and family! Our day will be different as it’s the first year our oldest daughter Hilary will not be at the table. We will miss her tons! Hope everyone has a blessed day full of family, friends and love…..and of course, turkey and pie!

It’s that time of year!!! We’ve been busy making some holiday magic! We are currently filling a few wreath orders than will have more available for sale.
Prices are:
22”-24” wreaths
Undecorated - balsam only or mixed with pine - $20
Bow only - balsam only or pine mix - $23
Decorated - balsam only or with pine mix - $25

I’m not a fancy decorater, by any means. I incorporate pine cones picked from our property or other local sourced areas. This year, I harvested cedar in Tennessee off our daughter Hilary’s property. It’s very pretty with blue berries! I make all bows by hand and add some holly berries and that’s it! I like the natural look so that’s what I make.

Productive weekend here on the farmstead. We processed the final batch of meat birds. We have 20 birds available for sale. The beets have been harvested and pickled to enjoy this winter. Garlic is ready to be planted this week for next years crop. We have 3 new baby cows to join our farm family. We will have Lennox help us name them since he’s our #1 cow lover. And we ended the weekend with our annual family tradition of making apple cider. 🍎🐄🧄🫜🎃🐓

We will not be at the Newport Farmers Market this Saturday or next Wednesday. We are on our way to Tennessee to visit our oldest daughter, Hilary. Andrew will be back in action on Saturday, October 4th. Stop in to hear about our travels and to pick up our fine quality farm raised products.
