Fun Fact time!
The Pawpaw isn't your average fruit and it doesn't have average fans!
While most orchards buzz with bees and butterflies, the Pawpaw plays by its own rules. Its unique, maroon-brown blossoms produce a faint scent reminiscent of fermenting grapes or rotting meat. It attracts carrion flies, beetles, and ants to do the heavy lifting of pollination.
It’s nature’s quirky way of bringing us the "custard apple" of the North!
Join us September 26th & 27th at Magic Forest Farm to celebrate the weird and wonderful world of this native treasure at the New York Pawpaw and Agriculture Festival! 🍐✨
