SOMETHING NEW IS BEING BUILT IN ADELAIDE
Zobuchwepheshe Skills Training Academy is preparing to introduce its first training service to the public.
Led by Unathi Yeki, Zobuchwepheshe is being developed as a skills training initiative based in Adelaide with a vision of making practical skills development more accessible to our community.
Before officially launching the service, we will first conduct trial classes and a feasibility study. This will allow us to understand what works, what needs improvement, and what learners actually need before we expand the programme.
We are currently developing a practical one-day CV & Job Application Workshop designed to teach people how to build and improve their own professional CVs.
The idea is simple:
Don't just pay someone to make your CV. Learn how to build one yourself.
You can't use a single CV for all the jobs you apply to. Different vacancies require different skills, experience and keywords — meaning your CV need to be tailored to the specific position you are applying for.
That's where this workshop comes in.
Participants will learn the process of: Finding a vacancy → Understanding the requirements → Tailoring your CV → Preparing your application
The course is currently being developed by Unathi Yeki himself, including the study material and practical exercises.
This is currently in the testing phase. We are not rushing to launch.
The trial classes will help us test the material, teaching approach, timing, activities and overall learner experience before the programme is officially rolled out.
We want to build something that actually provides value.
