All the various cultivars, including Red Jaina, Ruby Red, Purple Delight, and White Sugar, are sprouting. Some not quite where one would like, but those will kust become future cuttings.

Ok, but yes, there are tremendous concerns within the global food production system. Though it is true that things like even glyphosate occur in such small amounts on our end products that it is not deemed harmful to humans, it IS harmful to the environment. And the problem is we do not have enough scientific data to back this up. For example: what is the biodiversity in soil today vs 200 yrs ago, and would our current soil analysis show what microorganisms went extinct, or which are not supposed to be there?

On our farm, we honestly have zero information. The fact that the Magaliesberg have systematically become drier over the last 2 centuries have drastically altered the biome in any case. So where does human influence stop and start?

The fact that we are still talking about this simply mean that we still have no clear idea of specific endemic impacts on so much of our world.

It seems to be a good fit. In about 2 weeks time, after proper bonding between Splash and the Girls, we will open up the coop and see if Splash is up to the task of protector.
