Where do your food scraps go? 🌱

Eating mindfully also means thinking about waste and giving it another life 💚 Composting doesn’t have to be complicated. A simple heap, old bin or small container can do the trick.

Our magical compost crew of earthworms, slugs, cockroaches, fruit flies, bugs and microorganisms love breaking down and tucking into all the fruit and veggie scraps, coffee grounds, tea leaves, eggshells, bones and garden cuttings.

A little less waste, healthier soil and some very happy bugs.

There is a very real disconnect between what’s on our plate or in our fridge, and the origin of it. Most of what we eat isn’t met at its source. We see the end of it - wrapped, packed, displayed - but not the beginning.

Delicate, feathery leaves with a fresh crisp bite — somewhere between lettuce, rocket and mustard greens. Mildly peppery, beautifully vibrant and packed with goodness.

Originally from Japan, Mizuna is rich in vitamins A, C and K, supports digestion and adds the most delicious freshness to salads, sandwiches, bowls and stir fries.

Found fresh at a local organic farm this morning and instantly fell in love. 💚

At Sweet Tatas we very mindful about food wastage and where possible we try to make use of the whole ingredient. Each time we cracked open an egg, we wondered, what could we do with these shells...🤔

This is our Sweet Tatas's natural calcium doggo supplement 😉 🐾
If you love your fur babies as much as we do, then dont toss those eggshells! ♻️

Key Health Benefits:
● Strong Bones and Teeth: High calcium content is essential for skeletal health and maintaining teeth, especially for growing puppies and senior dogs.
● Joint Support: The inner membrane of the eggshell contains collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin, which help reduce joint pain and improve mobility.
● Mineral Boost: Eggshells provide trace minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and phosphorous.
● Improved Digestion & Coat: The calcium supports metabolic functions, while nutrients in the membrane can contribute to a healthier coat.

Dose:
● 1/4 tsp- 1/2 tsp of powder over food.
● Ideal for doggos on a home-cooked or raw diets that lack bone content. If dogs are on a commercial diet, then add powder 1/2 a week.
