Ramadaan Mubarak to All!

May this blessed month shower you and your loved ones with spiritual upliftment, abundant blessings and acceptable deeds.

We request that everyone remember Shaheema Banderker in your duas this month and always. May Allah grant her the most beautiful abode in Paradise. May Allah have mercy on her and make her qabr a garden from the gardens of Paradise.

Please make dua for the many families who are missing a loved one around their tables this Ramadaan. May Allah make it easy and grant them patience and strength.

Let us take a moment to reflect on the foundation laid by our founder and late mother, Shaheema Banderker. In doing so we strive to fulfill this legacy in months to come.

She was such an amazing person a fabulous chef and everything she did was done with so so much love and passion.
She loved creating dishes and teaching and sharing her skill to others... Each class she did and each dish she created was with so much love, you could visibly see the love being passed on with everything she did.
A force to be reckoned with and someone who followed her dreams, ignited her passion to share her journey and love for food with everyone.

My mom in laws sister..
The most kindhearted person in the whole wide world.. The epitome of Love, the glue that held the family so closely together....
One of the Mahmood family's rocks, woman of strength and the woman with the biggest heart ever..
She was loved by all who knew her ♥️

Im going to miss the msgs pop up 'Are you busy, can I call you' .. I'm going to miss the 'Farzana you too quiet.. What you busy with now?'
I'm going to miss those phonecalls immediately after doing something 'Mubarak Im proud of you'
Im going to miss the 'Noooo Farzana Im not ready....'
Im going to miss the 'ok my darling' before ending off the call... no one said it like she did...

May Allah grant Shaheema ghala the highest place in jannah and grant sabr, ease, strength and contentment to all her family, loved ones and especially Hoosein Ghalay and all her beautiful children 🤲🤲🤲

Shaheema ghala your Legacy will live on in all the hearts you touched and your memory and love will always and forever be with us.❤️❤️❤️

*Soup Campaign for Covid-19 patients*

After a challenging 2020, we pray that you and your families are safe and well. May this new year be filled with all the right ingredients- a sprinkle of love, a dash of light, heaps of happiness and lots of hope! ✨

We are embarking on a new project where we aim to provide soup to individuals or families who are ill with Covid-19. This is a free service delivered to your door.

📌 Our first delivery will take place on 13 January 2021 based in Southern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Class Update: Your health and safety is our top priority. Our individual and group classes will resume when it is again safe to do so. We dearly miss hosting you and hope we are able to start again soon! ❤️

Today was a very exciting day in the Slice and Dice Kitchen. We had our first group class since February. Our students cooked authentic Lamb Breyani, Basmati Rice, Braised Eggplant, Spiced Yoghurt and Mango Mousse.

This morning we hosted an “Everything Samoosa” themed one-on-one private cooking class. For one on one classes, our students can fully customize their menus. Today our student chose to cook Mince filling, Chicken filling, Chicken Jalapeño filling, Spinach and Feta filling, Cheese and Corn filling and Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream ✨
