SEEING IS BELIEVING. 🍷

From cloudy to brilliantly clear — this is filtration you can actually see happening.

The Della Toffola 170 Ceramic Filter, supplied and supported by FPM Suppliers, brings modern ceramic membrane filtration into the cellar with one objective: efficient clarification while protecting the product you worked so hard to produce.

What we like most about this technology is that it isn’t only about achieving clarity. It is about improving the filtration process itself — reducing reliance on traditional filtration consumables, creating a cleaner working environment, and giving the winemaker greater control over an important stage of production.

And the video tells the story better than we can.

Look at the difference between the product going in and the filtrate coming out.

At FPM, our involvement also doesn't end when the machine arrives. We supply, commission, service and maintain the equipment we sell — because filtration equipment is only valuable when it performs when the cellar needs it.

Backed by Della Toffola and Omnia Technologies, and supported locally by the FPM technical team.

Better filtration. Better support. Better production partnerships.

What if the next production revolution is not about producing more, but wasting less?

We recently had the opportunity to attend an insightful seminar with Alfa Laval, looking at one of the biggest challenges facing Africa and the world:

Food. Water. And how we produce enough of both for the future.

One statistic stood out to us: approximately 300 million people in Africa are estimated to lack access to safe water.

At the same time, Africa holds enormous agricultural and industrial potential.

That creates an interesting contradiction — and an even bigger responsibility.

The future of food and beverage production cannot simply be about increasing capacity. It will increasingly be about:

• using less water
• recovering more product
• reducing energy consumption
• improving processing efficiency
• strengthening local value chains
• and building production systems that are resilient, not merely productive.

This is where engineering becomes much more than machinery.

Technologies such as efficient heat transfer, separation and fluid handling can have a direct impact on water consumption, product recovery, energy efficiency and ultimately the economics of a production facility.

For us at FPM Suppliers, this reinforces something we believe strongly:

The machine is only one part of the conversation. The real conversation is what happens to the process around it.

As water, energy and raw materials become increasingly valuable, the producers that understand their processes best may ultimately be the ones that remain the most competitive.

A fascinating session and a reminder that partnerships with companies such as Alfa Laval allow us to think beyond equipment, toward the future of production itself.

Produce smarter. Recover more. Waste less.

What if your packaging line could grow at the same pace as your business?

The can has evolved far beyond beer.

Today we see wine, cider, RTDs, sparkling beverages, juices, functional drinks and an ever-growing range of products moving into cans — and with that comes a different question for producers:

How do I invest in capacity today without limiting where I can go tomorrow?

At FPM Suppliers, we believe equipment should enable growth, not become a constraint to it.

Our modular canning solutions can take producers from 15 cans per minute through to 50 cans per minute, allowing production capacity to evolve as demand grows.

But speed is only part of the story.

Automatic COâ‚‚ purge and filling, automatic lid placement, intelligent lid detection, automated seaming and flexible can-size options bring consistency and control into a process where every lost can, poor seam, unnecessary stop and inefficient changeover ultimately affects the bottom line.

For a growing producer, that matters.

You shouldn't necessarily have to buy tomorrow's factory today.

You need a system that allows you to start where the business makes sense — and scale when the market demands it.

At FPM, our role goes beyond supplying equipment. Our technical team stands behind the installation, the parts, the service and, ultimately, the producer who depends on that line every day.

Because the real measure of a machine isn't simply how fast it runs.

It's how confidently it allows your business to grow.

🇫🇷 Introducing Tonnellerie Sansaud to South Africa

At FPM Suppliers, we believe that exceptional wines begin long before the grapes enter the cellar. Every decision—from the vineyard to the barrel—shapes the final expression in the bottle.

It is therefore a privilege to introduce Tonnellerie Sansaud to the South African wine industry.

For more than 40 years, this family-owned cooperage in Segonzac, France, at the heart of the renowned Grande Champagne region, has been crafting premium French oak barrels through a philosophy that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern precision. Their oak is naturally air-seasoned for over 36 months, their barrels are traditionally fire toasted, and every barrel undergoes rigorous quality testing before leaving the cooperage.

A barrel is far more than a vessel for maturation. It is an extension of the winemaker's philosophy—one that can influence texture, structure, aromatic complexity, and the longevity of a wine. Selecting the right cooperage is therefore one of the most important decisions in premium wine production.

As FPM Suppliers, we are proud to add Sansaud to our portfolio, enabling South African producers to access another world-class French cooperage, backed by local technical support and commercial service.

Whether your objective is to preserve fruit purity, build elegance, or create wines with greater depth and ageing potential, we look forward to helping you find the barrel that best complements your winemaking style.

Because great wines deserve exceptional oak.

Behind every reliable production line is a team you hope you'll never need... but are grateful to have when you do.
Every producer knows the feeling.
A machine stops unexpectedly.
Production is on hold.
Orders are waiting.
Every minute matters.
At FPM Suppliers, we understand that we've spent decades standing alongside producers when they needed us most.
Our technical team brings more than 30 years of industry experience, supporting wineries, breweries, distilleries and beverage producers with expert servicing, spare parts, commissioning and technical support.
They know the machines inside out—but just as importantly, they know the people behind them.
To us, service isn't about fixing equipment.
It's about helping our customers get back to doing what they do best.
Because we're more than an equipment supplier.
We're your production partner.

Beyond the Label. Behind the Performance.

Every producer invests heavily in creating a product they'll be proud to put on the shelf.

Yet one of the most overlooked stages in the production process is also one of the most visible.

Labelling.

At FPM Suppliers, we don't see a labelling machine as equipment that simply applies labels.

We see a system that protects productivity, improves consistency and reduces hidden operational costs.

Every unnecessary production stop.

Every poorly aligned label.

Every wasted reel during setup.

Every minute spent on manual adjustments.

These small inefficiencies accumulate into high costs over the life of a production line.

Modern labelling technology changes that conversation.

With intelligent automation, rapid changeovers and precision application, today's systems are designed to minimise waste, reduce operator intervention and maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

The real question isn't:

"How many bottles per hour can the machine label?"

It's:

"How much value does it create every hour it runs?"

At FPM Suppliers, we believe every piece of equipment should deliver more than production capacity. It should improve efficiency, reduce waste, protect your brand and contribute to a stronger return on investment.

Because every perfectly applied label represents more than a finished bottle.

The last few metres of a product's journey may be the most important.

Every bottle represents months—sometimes years—of dedication.

Whether it's wine, spirits, beer, juice or another premium beverage, countless decisions are made before the product ever reaches the bottling line. Raw materials are carefully selected, production is closely monitored, and quality is protected every step of the way.

Then, in just a few seconds, that product is filled, sealed and prepared for the market.

At FPM Suppliers, we believe this final stage deserves as much attention as every stage before it.

A bottling line should never be evaluated simply by its bottles per hour.

The more important questions are:

• How gently is the product handled?
• How effectively is oxygen managed during filling?
• How accurate and consistent are fill levels?
• How quickly can different bottle formats be changed over?
• How much product is lost during production?
• How much downtime is costing your business every year?

These are the questions that determine long-term profitability.

This is why we are proud to partner with world-class manufacturers such as Bertolaso, whose bottling solutions are designed to deliver more than production speed. They are engineered to protect product quality, maximise operational efficiency and reduce the total cost of ownership throughout the life of the equipment.

The conversation should no longer begin with:

"What does a new bottling line cost?"

Instead, it should start with:

"What is our current bottling process costing us?"

Downtime.

Product losses.

Oxygen pickup.

Maintenance.

Labour efficiency.

Energy consumption.

Changeover time.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

These are the metrics that separate a production line that simply runs from one that creates lasting value.

At FPM Suppliers, we work alongside our customers to deliver solutions that combine engineering excellence with practical production insight—helping producers improve efficiency, protect product integrity and build more resilient operations.

Because great bottling technology isn't just about filling bottles.

It's about protecting everything that went into creating what's inside them.
