Today I woke up reflecting on life and why we are here. Last night, my beloved sister-in-law's father passed away peacefully in his sleep, at 91 after a short illness. He was a quiet soul, only spoke when he needed to, but when he did, you had to sit up and listen carefully to the quiet words of wisdom that spilled from his mouth.

He always had a little joke at the ready...up until Thursday he got a twinkle in his tired eyes when he uttered his last little funniness.

He lived by the law that one mouth and two ears in our design constituted more listening than talking. He was so uncomplicated, so undemanding.
