Karoo Veld Venison began trading on 1 October 2019 with the primary focus being the supply of Venison products. The majority of the Venison, which is sourced from the Karoo and Eastern Cape, arrives in carcass form where-after it is processed, vacuum packaged and frozen on site.
The product range of the business was recently extended to include grass-fed beef sourced from the Eastern Cape. Being grass-fed there is no risk of the meat being contaminated with antibiotics or growth hormones.
The ultimate mission of the business is to enrich people’s lives by providing a naturally free range red meat option which has been ethically harvested.

Venison is a naturally free range, protein-rich and lean red meat option containing up to 50% less fat than beef, is low in cholesterol and has no risk of containing antibiotics or growth hormones.
