One could say that every month should be women's month at Baobab!

Some of the most important work is done by hand - again and again - with speed, concentration and an eye for the small details.

Our women do this work every day, and they’re good at it. There’s a rhythm to the way they work: experienced hands moving quickly, knowing what to keep, what to remove and what needs a second look.

Fortunate to be part of an industry that supports healthier snacking choices — and to see growing global demand for products that deliver both nutrition and quality.

The rising popularity of dried fruit as a snack choice for both adults and children reflects a broader shift towards more mindful consumption. Typically Baobab's product is sold in bulk to clients with blue chip retail customers in Spain, the UK, Switzerland and elsewhere.

"Our focus is on higher-end customers who require guaranteed supply of consistent quality and good traceability and certifications. ESG is also important for most of these customers, especially in EU and UK – and our farms are fully compliant,” says operational manager Willie Jacobs.
