What began during his first harvest in 2006 eventually became Le Sueur Wines in 2014 — a small-batch wine range shaped by curiosity, patience and a deep appreciation for South African terroir.

For Louis, winemaking has always been about character — finding exceptional vineyard sites, understanding the nuances of each region and allowing every wine to tell its own story.

Today, Louis has earned recognition from Platter, Tim Atkin, WineMag and international wine critics, including producing the Klein Karoo’s first-ever Platter 5-Star red wine.
