And so the possums struck again.
Mozambik – June 2026
This time no xenophobia was feared, and we headed off to Mozambik (not the country, but the restaurant) for some eating.
My second favourite F-word.
Okay, we dodged the potholes and safely arrived at the restaurant.
Our waiter for the day was Paul, a very tall man indeed. After enquiring from him afterwards, I realised that we are actually the same height. Well, I felt smaller compared to him, but I was much rounder than him by the end.
I treated the fiancé-possum to their Prawn Wednesday special. This consists of nine medium-sized prawns drenched in either lemon-butter sauce, medium peri-peri, or hot peri-peri. I opted for the medium peri-peri, and the fiancé-possum chose the lemon-butter.
This is accompanied by either coconut rice or chips. She chose the rice (healthier indeed), and I settled on my favourite: chips.
To wash it all down, she had her regular cappuccino, and I had (as always) Coca-Cola. The fiancé-possum did make a note to say that the cappuccino was not the best she had ever had.
Coffee snob, I tell you ...
The meal was worth its money, and we will definitely return, maybe sooner rather than later, as I am always hungry.
Mozambik, we will be back!

Lovely. Although it was cold outside, my tummy was full, and that is the end result.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice, neat and clean, but for those who know me by now, there was no toothpick.

Food Quality: 4/5
Prawns were exceptional, but the cappuccino lacked lustre.

High five to him. Pun intended, being so tall.

Will definitely eat prawns there again.
