Out with the old, in with the new!
As you would have noticed, there is a lot of building and working around the Bush Centre in Marloth Park.
To Alwyn Kruger, thank you for upgrading our lovely Bush Centre, we can't wait to see the final picture when all the work is done.
This gave us time to do a some changes in our butchery shop.
We are still busy with a few changes, but are happy with our new look.
To our customers, thank you for your support during this time. Thank you for your positive feedback. We do appreciate each one of you.
To our staff, Alta, Nicci, Leon, Wilson, Amos and Busaphi - you guys rock! It was hard work, but you never hesitated to work hard to reach our goal! We love you and appreciate you.
We have now better organised space to make our customer's shopping easier.

🚨 URGENT SCAM WARNING – MARLOTH PARK 🚨

Please share this with the Marloth Park community and all local businesses.

We have been made aware of a scammer targeting businesses in Marloth Park over the past few days.

The scam works as follows:

1. The person first phones a business and places an order for goods or services, in an attempt to gain your trust.
2. They then ask the business to purchase OTT vouchers for guests, promising to pay you the cash when the ordered goods are delivered to an address.
3. The scammer communicates via WhatsApp and uses profile pictures of people known in the Marloth Park community, making the account appear legitimate.
4. They then ask you to take photos of the voucher numbers/codes and send them via WhatsApp.
5. They may put pressure on you to send the voucher details quickly.

⚠️ DO NOT SEND PHOTOS OF OTT VOUCHERS OR VOUCHER CODES TO ANYONE UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED.

Please be extremely cautious, even if the WhatsApp profile picture appears to be someone you know. Contact that person directly using a known phone number to confirm the request.

If you receive a suspicious call or WhatsApp message, do not proceed with the transaction. Warn other businesses and report the incident to the appropriate authorities.

This is an urgent warning to all Marloth Park businesses and residents. Please share widely so we can prevent anyone else from falling victim to this scam.
