The Story of Westcliff Gin
Westcliff Copper distilled embodies the story of Gin. Gin arrived in Joburg in 1884, the British came to South Africa to mine gold, they moved from Baberton to Johannesburg to mine the rich veins of this grass plain. Johannesburg boomed with the influx of people and two areas developed because of this, Parktown and Westcliff. The area on the hill known as Westcliff is where this gold labeled Gin derives its name.
The Botanicals used in the creation of this Gin is a blend of European and African Botanicals, mostly Golden in colour.
