Meet the chefs behind the fire. 🔥

This September, two distinctly South African culinary talents come together at Olijvenkraal for the Festival of Food at FYRE.

Chef Darren Badenhorst, award-winning chef and the creative force behind Le coin Français, brings his refined approach to cooking, shaped by years spent at the forefront of the Cape W**elands dining scene.

Alongside him is Jan Braai — author, television presenter and the man behind the National Braai Day initiative, whose mission to bring South Africans together around the fire has become part of our country’s culinary culture.

Together, they’ll host three days of food and fire at Olijvenkraal, from an exclusive collaboration dinner at FYRE to a harvest table amongst the olive groves and a relaxed Sunday spit braai in the garden.
