Here's a simple cupcake recipe for you:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat just until combined.
5. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Allow cupcakes to cool completely in the pan before frosting and decorating.
