🥩🍄 Friday Dinner Sorted with Pick n Pay!

Bring bold flavour to the table with these Pepper Lamb Chops with Garlic Mushrooms and Creamy Cauliflower Mash — an easy weekend meal made with simple ingredients you can pick up at Pick n Pay. 😍🛒

🍽️ Serves 4

🛒 Ingredients:
🥩 8 lamb chops
🫒 2 tbsp olive oil
🧄 3 garlic cloves
🌿 1 tsp rosemary
🌶️ 1½ tsp cracked black pepper
🧂 1 tsp salt
🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice
🍄 250g mushrooms
🧈 1 tbsp butter
🥦 1 head cauliflower
🥛 2 tbsp plain Greek yoghurt

👩‍🍳 Method:

1️⃣ Pat the lamb chops dry.

2️⃣ Mix the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, pepper, salt and lemon juice. Rub over the chops and leave for 15–30 minutes if time allows.

3️⃣ Heat a pan or grill and cook the chops for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on your preferred doneness.

4️⃣ Rest the chops for about 5 minutes.

5️⃣ Add the mushrooms and butter to the same pan and cook until golden and tender. 🍄

6️⃣ Steam the cauliflower until soft, then mash with Greek yoghurt, salt and pepper until creamy.

7️⃣ Plate the mash, top with the lamb chops and finish with the garlic mushrooms. Serve and enjoy! 😋❤️

🍷 For those who enjoy a wine pairing, this meal can be served with a Shiraz to complement the pepper, rosemary and garlic flavours.
