A look behind the scenes in Zimbabwe with WOOLWORTHS 🫐

The Woolworths procurement team recently joined our local team in Zimbabwe for a grower visit. The visit provided an opportunity to see exciting developments across our grower farms, taste new blueberry varieties and explore new plantings for future seasons.

Zimbabwe plays an important role in supplying premium blueberries to Woolworths and BerryWorld is proud to connect retail and grower partners who share a commitment to growing the blueberry category 🫐

Our Technical Team recently returned from visits to South Africa's Mpumalanga and Limpopo blueberry growing regions.

Working alongside our growers and farm teams, they assessed fruit development and shared best practices for harvesting and handling to help protect bloom, preserve quality and maintain freshness for this season's Eureka Dawn, Masena and Eureka Sunrise blueberries.
