It always feels good to see an underdog win, and we’re proud to show off our Nastergal achieving 95 points in Tim Atkin MW latest RSA report. This wine continues to perplex and challenge us which is why we do what we do! Last week we delved into a 10 year vertical to follow the path this wine has taken and it has been a journey which we are still on, jump in and join the ride! We've been keeping a few bottles to ourselves.

Well, not entirely.

Three new wines have joined The Harvest Club: a single-barrel Cabernet Sauvignon, an Alicante Bouschet and a Tempranillo that's finally getting the spotlight all to itself.

Small releases. New labels. Plenty of stories to tell.

We've spent the last few weeks cutting things back.

It sounds backwards, but that's exactly the point.

Every vine is pruned by hand before spring arrives. Every cut sets the vines up for the season ahead.

It's slow work, but it's work worth taking the time to get right.

That's the idea behind our Timelapse Tastings.

On 26 August we'll be opening older vintages of Duwweltjie and Nastergal alongside the wines they've become. A chance to taste the differences, ask a few questions and spend an evening around the table with us.
