AREAS OF YOUR LIFE YOU NEED TO EXCEL TO BE SUCCESSFUL - APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN
I hear believers praying for their destiny helpers to locate them. That is wonderful, but what is the definition of success? When it has to do with the life of a victorious person and an overcomer, there needs to be a proper definition of success in your life.
Most believers want to succeed, but they are totally at a loss as to what success is and the indices they should use to measure it. When you talk about success, there are areas of your life where, if you are not excelling, you cannot truly say that you are successful.
The first area is your spiritual growth. The first area by which you measure your success is your spiritual growth.
The second area is your mental transformation. Your success is to the degree to which you adopt superior belief systems that translate into a winning and victorious life. There is nothing called a billionaire madman.
The third area to measure success is purpose and ambition—that which you desire to do as far as life and destiny are concerned. You must be making progress in the pursuit of your God-given purpose.
The fourth area is your health and wellness. You are only successful to the degree to which you are healthy and well. Your health is an important part of your ability to fulfill your assignment on the earth.
The fifth area is your financial well-being. Usually, this is where most people zoom out to. When they are talking about success, they are talking about money. But in your journey of becoming successful, if you lack in this area, you are not wholesomely successful.
The sixth area that measures and defines your success is the quality of the relationships in your life. You must have meaningful relationships with people who add value to your life, and you must also become a blessing to others.
The seventh area that measures success is fulfillment and meaning. You must be able to look at your life and know that you are living with purpose, making impact, and finding fulfillment in what God has called you to do.
So, don't define success by money alone. Success is holistic. You can have wealth and still be deficient in other important areas of your life.
Therefore, as you pray for destiny helpers, open doors, and greater opportunities, also ask God for the grace to grow in every area of your life. Become spiritually mature, mentally transformed, purposeful, healthy, financially responsible, relationally sound, and fulfilled.
