We started shelling and transporting the bagged paddy to the main site

We managed to cut and stack all the rice from this particular field. Tomorrow we start shelling and hopefully it will take a day and half since we will be using some form of mechanization to do the work quickly. For a start up its not bad and we will be able to share pics of our total bags when all fields are done harvested.

Rice harvesting is underway. We are cutting and stacking and then shelling. This is the first day of harvesting and we estimate to use three days on cutting and stacking. We will keep you posted on this wonderful journey😊

Good morning farmers.
Today we are Ikakuyu village our main site to check on the rice fields. This field in particular we expect to start the harvesting mid next week. A very successful rice field too that makes us happy. Thanks team for the effort

Join our team as they do a final field visitation in Ñoma community before harvest. The purpose for the visit was estimation of bags of rice to be harvested to help us with budgeting for empty bags, sickles, tents, number of people to be involved etc. The team is very pleased and satisfied with what they see.

We are in Ñoma community today to check on our rice field. Very soon the whole field will flower. At this stage we are preparing for bird mitigation in the field. Rice farmers understands this battle with birds😅😅

Flowering has started in some parts of our fields. Our next stage is adequate preparations for harvest because before you know it, the rice is ready for harvest 😅😅. We are excited to see this transformation unveiling before us.
