Supporting a family/friend's business shows you believe in them and their dreams, which strengthens your relationship and the continuity. It provides emotional support, helps the business succeed through word-of-mouth and financial investment, and can even offer practical help like sharing the workload or providing feedback. To explain in details:
1. Emotional and morale support, believe in their dream :- Becoming an entrepreneur is not an easy decision and it comes with challenges, supporting your friend's business shows you have faith in their vision and efforts, which can be crucial during the challenging journey of entrepreneurship.
2. Provide encouragement:- A simple check-in or a positive comment can mean the world. You can also share uplifting messages or be a positive sounding board, they're times when things get rough, trust me a word of encouragement is enough to continue pushing, sharing successes and navigating challenges together can strengthen your friendship and create a meaningful bond.
3. Business and financial support/Be a customer:- Your financial support, by paying full price for the goods or services, is a direct way to contribute to the success of the business and show you value the work. If you can't give me money to help grow my business please be my customer that pays full price, that's also one way of offering financial support.
4.Act as a brand ambassador:- Spread the word about the business in a positive way, whether through word-of-mouth or social media. Providing social proof, Leaving genuine positive reviews and engaging on social media posts (liking, sharing, commenting) by doing so you can significantly influence potential customers. They're alot of ways you can offer support, If I'm unable to buy I'll definitely help you find a customer or two.
5.Practical support :- Offer practical help, such as volunteering your time, helping with specific tasks, or even providing advice on a tough situation. Offer your skills, If your friend needs help with a specific area where you have expertise, offer your skills or knowledge to assist. For example. Delivery, Marketing ( making adverts, posters, convincing a person to buy)
6. Lastly Respect the business process:- Avoid asking for favors that go against the established systems, as it can create extra work and putting one in an awkward position. Respecting the business process is a form of support in itself, Because we all have a birthday imagine if I had to make free cakes for all my family and friends that's about one or two free cakes everyday throughout the year.
