As we move into the dry season, the veld in the communal grazing areas begins to lose its nutritional value. To keep the herd healthy and thriving, we’re supplementing their grazing with treated silage — and they absolutely love it.

Moments like these remind us that good nutrition is the foundation of strong, productive livestock.

All these kids were born in April 2026—and you can already start to see the difference.

The pure Boer kids are really standing out. Strong build, great muscling… exactly the traits you want coming through.

The crosses are not too bad either. They’re showing a nice balance—still picking up some of that Boer quality while keeping the hardiness from the indigenous side.

And honestly, our buck is doing an incredible job. He’s really improving the herd with every kidding season.

Right now, we’re working with a mix of pure Boer and indigenous goats—and it’s exciting to see how things are shaping up.

The kids just keep coming!

Our pure Boer kids are absolutely adorable—chunky, playful, and full of personality! But I have to say, the crosses from our Boer buck with the local breeds are just as impressive. Strong, lively, and already showing great potential.

It’s such a rewarding season watching them grow and thrive. Grateful for every new arrival!

Farm update

At 15:45 on 02/04/2026, our very first Boer kid arrived at Whitehouses Farm, Sadza Growth Point .

Already up on wobbly legs and straight to the “milk bar” — with a little help from us to get that vital colostrum (nature’s first immune booster.
