Sweet meets savory perfection! ๐ฏ This simple recipe uses pure honey for a caramelized, irresistible crunch. The magic of salty, smokey, and honey-sweet flavours pairs perfectly well with anything from french toast to salad! ๐คฏ๐ฅ
INGREDIENTS:
โข Thick-cut bacon (preferably)
โข Pure honey
* Optional: Black/Cayenne pepper, coarse sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
โข Preheat oven to 175ยฐC.
โข Line a baking sheet with foil, and place a wire rack on top.
โข Lay bacon strips on the rack.
โข Brush each bacon strip generously with honey.
โข Bake until bacon is crispy and the honey has caramelized, ยฑ15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
โข Cool slightly before serving.
NB: The wire rack is important, it allows the fat to drip away, and the bacon to crisp
