It is vital to pay attention to the hatchery process and handling to avoid poor chick quality. Getting chicks from reputable sources with good quality control will help you to have a good starting point for good performance. As a poultry veterinarian, I know that any number of problems, some difficult to detect early on, can impact the quality of chicks. Reduce the risk of failure by paying attention to chick quality with every batch you place.
