This recipe comes together with few basic ingredients do try it and let me know

Goan Muskmelon Mandos

400-500 gm Muskmelon
1/2 Raw local rice
1/2 cup Jaggery
1 cup Rava / Semolina
2 cups Freshly grated Coconut
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
1 tbsp Ghee
Salt to taste

/ bake it in a preheated oven @180 degree for 60 min or until done
/ or you can also steam it

Simple Dal Rice is so comforting elevate your simple Masoor Dal with this recipe Coconut Milk Masoor Dal & I am sure you will not only love it but will always make it this way.

Coconut Milk Masoor Dal
For Boiling Dal
1/2 cup Masoor Dal
1 cup Water
1 medium Onion
1 medium Tomato
2 small Bay Leaves
3-4 Garlic Cloves
1 small piece of Giner
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1/2 tsp Ghee

For the Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Fresh Coconut
1 cup Water

For the Tadka
1 tbsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Sprig Curry Leaves
Pinch of Asafoetida
1/2-1 cup of Water
Fat pinch of Sugar
Salt to taste
Fresh Coriander to Garnish
