Ethical Camel Milk Starts with Ethical Camel Farming

At our camel farm, milk production is not driven by pressure or confinement — it is guided by biology, welfare, and respect.

We follow a personalized, semi-interactive farming system, designed around the natural needs of camels rather than forcing camels to adapt to an industrial model.

Why ethical? Why semi-intensive?

• Feed and water are available 24/7, provided according to biological requirements, not conditioned to milk yield
• Natural breeding is practiced, using bulls from different breeds and regions to strengthen genetic diversity, milk potential, and disease resistance
• Calves are never separated from their mothers and continue to drink milk until the full weaning period
• Camels are housed in clean, spacious, desert environments that allow natural movement and behavior
• We provide an added luxury — daily walking systems, where camels walk more than 6 km every day
• Strong human–camel interaction is maintained, recognizing the camel’s need for social connection and calm handling

This is why we define our system as semi-intensive — structured, but not restrictive; productive, yet humane.

The result?
Ethical camel milk from healthy, calm, and content animals.

Because truly sustainable production begins with happy camels.

The camel is really an amazing and unique creature. They love few things more than anything else.
They love salt and can drink the sea water. They eat the most bitter and salty bushes in the desert.
They love socializing with humans. They need humans to communicate with them. They sniff the human and understand his soul.
They need far and wide horizons to walk and eat. They take few bites from one plant and then move to another plant.
Yesterday when I met our milking camels, I broke the salt blocks , turned them into grains. Believe me, I have seldom seen the camels in such a happy mood before. They were eating and I felt that they were thanking me. You also watch the beautiful video.
