We are proud to be participating at Gulfood Manufacturing, presenting our integrated food ingredients portfolio to the industry. This includes Native Corn Starch, Maltodextrin, Liquid Glucose and blends, refined canola oil, breadcrumbs and coating systems, heat-treated flour and other specialized flour applications, along with canola lecithin and liquid egg.

 These ingredient systems deliver functionality and application performance across bakery, processed and value-added meat, confectionery, infant nutrition, snacks and cereals, and food service applications.

At Al Ghurair Foods, we are moving forward with the development of the UAE’s first Corn Starch Plant in KEZAD, with phased operations scheduled to begin in Q1 2026.

Occupying 13.6 hectares, this strategic facility will strengthen the nation’s food security and reduce reliance on imported starch—currently valued at approximately AED 73 million—while serving critical sectors such as food, paper, packaging, textiles, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

The Corn Starch Plant represents an important milestone in advancing industrial self-sufficiency, sustainable manufacturing, and regional supply resilience. Through this investment, we continue to build on our legacy of innovation—driving growth, enabling local production, and supporting the UAE’s vision for a diversified and competitive industrial future.
