The chefs are still digesting all the ideas and inspiration from The Speciality Food Festival 2023. Just ask Chef Giuseppe Pezzella, the culinary genius behind Chic Nonna Dubai.

This multi-award-winning chef was impressed by the fusion trend, mixing global flavours to create a unique gourmet experience. He was particularly excited about the umami flavours of seaweed and we hope to see more of his creations incorporating this nutritious, delicious ingredient.

We thank him for bringing his culinary skills to Top Table this year and look forward to seeing him again next year. Till then he will be in his kitchen cooking up more flavourful trends.

The Speciality Food Festival 2023 was a buffet of the crème de la crème of the gourmet world 🌟🍽️

Industry leaders, innovators, niche products, and artisanal brands from around the world came together under one roof. The variety and diversity at the venue were truly the recipe for a very successful edition of the event.

For 3 days each of our exhibitors transformed their booth into a thriving epicentre of opportunity and culinary brilliance, gaining quality leads from serious B2B buyers that will skyrocket their business prowess 🚀

We caught up with Chef Alex Stumpf, co-owner of BB Social DIFC, to learn about his experience at The Speciality Food Festival 2023.

He thought it was a great place to showcase UAE’s talent and creativity to the world. A global platform that empowers local players. A key trend that he observed was the focus on sustainability which he thinks will only grow bigger in the future. With the UAE now moving towards growing local produce, it gives him and his fellow chefs the opportunity to work with fresh, local produce to create flavourful culinary delights

Fish-lover and culinary artist Chef Junior Nadje founder of Diner Modern brought the satisfying flavours of the sea to The Speciality Food Festival 2023.

His Top Table masterclass left us speechless with a mouth-watering combination of flavours from Ivory Coast and Korea, rolled in with French techniques. He enjoyed his time there and was delighted to discover Hokkaido scallops at the show.

Something tells us next year he will be bringing scrumptious scallops to the menu! His takeaway was the healthy eating trend and we hope to see more gourmet healthy dishes from him in the future. Till next year we thank him for his participation.

Artisanal brands, organic ingredients, culinary innovation, sustainable gastronomy, and more left us buzzing with endless inspiration.

That’s actually when the real work begins. Take it from one of our popular exhibitors Frantoio D'orazio, makers of speciality olive oils from Italy. Frantoio D’Orazio offers different kinds of extra virgin olive oils for every taste and palate.

Having sampled their product at the event, they have discovered many leads and connections to pursue in the coming days. This is just the beginning of their growth in the region and beyond. Proving that The Speciality Food Festival is the gateway to this growing gourmet market.

The Speciality Food Festival is a place of discovery and we love seeing the diversity of cuisines at the show.

As does Chef Roberto Segura, founder La Barra Dubai & RS Hospitality Consultants, Head of culinary at Infini Concepts Agency. A culinary visionary with a passion for innovation and Peruvian cuisine, he wowed us with his salmon tiradito at the Top Table masterclass. A dish that captures all the vibrant culinary flavours of Peruvian cuisine.

A champion of chef-led, home-grown concepts, he has always supported other chefs in the region and the event was a chance for him to network, connect, learn and share with them. We thank him for bringing his energy and enthusiasm to Top Table and look forward to seeing him again next year.

We’ve had a wonderful time at The Speciality Food Festival 2023.

Each and every exhibitor benefited from the high footfall and quality leads generated over the 3 days that flew by too fast. One such exhibitor Share Switzerland talks to us about their experience at the show.

Their first time here, they were delighted to have numerous people try their unique snacks and beverages. Share Swiss marries Swiss manufacturing with Asian traditions to create fermented fruit products that are vegan, healthy, gluten-free, lactose-free, and GMO-free that help detox and energise. But it’s not just their products that are good, even their packaging is ecological and completely biodegradable.

We thank them for participating in the event. We are always delighted to introduce new products to the region and around the globe. We hope you stopped by their booth to try their fermented goodies. And we look forward to seeing them again next year.
