Flooding can leave lasting impacts on crops, soil, and farm productivity. While every farm and crop is different, taking timely action after heavy rainfall can help reduce further damage and support recovery.

🌊 1. Remove Standing Water
Clear blocked drainage channels where it is safe to do so. Reducing standing water helps improve soil aeration and lowers the risk of root damage and prolonged waterlogging.

🌱 2. Assess Crop & Soil
Once conditions are safe, inspect your fields for waterlogging, erosion, lodged plants, and other visible damage. Early assessment helps identify priority areas for recovery.

🍃 3. Monitor Disease Risk
Excess moisture can increase the likelihood of fungal diseases and other crop health issues. Continue monitoring fields as they dry and remove severely damaged plant material where appropriate.

🌍 4. Support Soil Recovery
Avoid using heavy machinery on saturated fields to reduce soil compaction. Allow the soil to recover and restore drainage before returning to normal farming operations.

Every season brings new challenges, but informed decisions and resilient farming practices can help protect future harvests.

Thank you to The Prestige Magazine and the organizers of Dhaka Modest Fashion Expo 2026 for initiating a timely and vital dialogue on Bangladesh’s role in the $3 trillion global halal economy.

Our Founder & Managing Director, Tariqul Islam, joined an incredible lineup of trade and policy leaders to discuss “Bangladesh’s Place in the Global Halal Economy: Branding, Certification Credibility, and International Market Access.”

We extend our sincere thanks to his fellow co-panelists for the enriching conversation — H.E. Ashud Ahmed, Former Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar and Greece; Nahian Rahman, Head of Business Development, BIDA; and Imran Hassan, Secretary General, BROA.

We highly appreciate this initiative to build a trusted halal identity for Bangladesh and are excited to help turn these insights into reality.
