A vegetarian meal in Jaipur that genuinely surprised me.
Tucked inside Johri Bazaar, The Johri Restaurant feels like stepping into a quiet, elegant world where tradition is reimagined with confidence. From the flaky truffle cheese kulcha and crunchy papad pyaaz kebab to the deeply comforting kathal nihari and the standout soya kheema bati in laal mathania chilli gravy—every dish felt thoughtful and rooted.
Desserts were pure nostalgia: gadbad ice cream, pista kulfi with multigrain churma, and the delicate Hawa Mahal milk cake.
Refined, soulful, and unapologetically vegetarian—this is Jaipur dining done right.
