Vayk Winery founded in 2001 and having a vision to become the best wines from Southern Armenia, today has a unique assortment of wines made with Armenian fruits. Nestled in the Arpa River Valley—one of the oldest documented winemaking regions in human history—our vineyards celebrate the land’s ancient heritage while embracing modern craftsmanship. We began in the late 1990s with 12 hectares of Are
ni Noir and Voskehat, two indigenous grape varieties whose roots trace back over 6,000 years. Today, our estate spans 33 hectares of southwest-facing, rugged slopes, where volcanic soils, crisp mountain air, and over 300 days of sunshine create a truly exceptional terroir. Over more than two decades, we’ve refined our winemaking approach—blending time-honored Armenian techniques with innovative methods—to create wines that capture the depth and elegance of our region. Sustainability guides every decision: we avoid pesticides, use precision drip irrigation, preserve the natural terrain, and work in harmony with the land and community. As a family-owned winery, we take pride in employing local talent, supporting regional festivals, and sharing the spirit of Vayots Dzor with every bottle. Our wines are enjoyed in Armenia’s top markets, bars, and restaurants, and are now reaching new audiences abroad. From vineyard to cellar, our commitment is simple—craft wines of character that warm the heart and tell the story of our land. We invite you to taste our heritage and share your experience with us.
