Melipal basa su produccion principalmente en el varietal malbec. Elabora tambien cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc y petit verdot en partidas limitadas. Sus vinos van desde una linea joven sin madera hasta la linea ultra premium con exponentes complejos, elegantes y estructurados criados en barricas. Melipal winery was founded by the Aristi Family in 2002 with the commitment of beginning a history of perfect matching between man, the vineyard and the terroir. A history where wine is its most remarkable expression. Its contemporary architecture design is surrounded by 87 has of vineyards, being most of them Malbec grapes. The facility is open to receive visitors all year round, giving our guest the choice of a private tour and tasting or the possibility of enjoying an exclusive lunch at our restaurant viewing the impressive Andes Range. The winery has a 800.000 – litre vat capacity in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. Melipal bases its production mainly on Malbec grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot are also elaborated here but in limited lots. Its wines go from a young line without oak to an ultra premium one, being these, complex, elegant and structured wines aged in oak barrels.
