Portugal once again captured our hearts. 🇵🇹🍷
We spent a few unforgettable days enjoying the incredible food, outstanding wines, breathtaking coastline, and—most importantly—precious family time together.
One of the absolute highlights was our visit to Casalsantamaria in Sintra. A heartfelt thank you to sommelier Anastasiia Grigoreva | Сомелье в Лиссабоне for the warm welcome, the fascinating tour of the winery, and the wonderful wine tasting. It was inspiring to experience the passion, dedication, and craftsmanship behind every bottle.
As a wine lover and winemaker myself, one thing particularly caught my attention: the remarkably low prices of many Portuguese wines. Despite their excellent quality, they are often sold at prices that are hard to believe.
At a fantastic seafood restaurant near Praia Grande O Croa , we found an impressive wine list with bottles starting at just €12 to enjoy at the table. For consumers, that’s exceptional value. But it also made me wonder: how much of that actually reaches the winemaker?
Thank you, Portugal, for your hospitality, your wines, your cuisine, and the memories. We’ll definitely be back. 🍇🌊
