Welcome to a New Era for Schödl Sparkling W**es!
Over the past few years, we’ve really thrown ourselves into the world of sparkling w**e. We’ve experimented a lot, learned a lot, and started all over again. But one thing becomes clearer with every vintage: The more we learn the more natural, patient and confident our work gets with our surroundings.
Our w**es are, after all, the result of the whims of nature, whether the tireless growth of our vines or the extreme climate events that are happening every year. They are closely tied with their natural surroundings. To the place we work in and the place we call home.
As our sparkling w**es evolved, we felt their appearance should follow them. The new labels are an invitation to look at nature a little more closely. To notice the sky, the patches of forest, the stars we see on the clear nights and the beautiful rolling hills of the Weinviertel, all the things that surround us every day and continue to inspire us.
We wanted to bring that world onto the bottle. And we could hardly imagine anyone better suited to do that than the contemporary Hungarian Artist Csató József .
There’s something wonderfully organic about Jozi’s work. His shapes and colours create a world of their own, one that feels perfectly at home alongside our sparkling w**es. There is something indefinite about it that is captivating and mysterious, yet colorful and vivid of his portrayal of our environment.
The things that are so much a part of our everyday lives that we sometimes forget just how special they are.
But enough talking. It’s time to present:
