After weeks of careful analysis and investigation our initial process is now complete. Enclosed above are excerpts of our long form public statement on our website. For our full statement as well as all lab reports from this initial investigation please click the link in bio. It’s a long read, but we really encourage, specifically our clients, to read what we wrote as we believe it’s important for everyone to understand what is currently going on in the consumer package goods space.
TLDR:
🔘 2 different 3rd party lab analysis have come back negative with zero microplastics.
🔘 1 of those labs has tested for nanoplastics and we are the first commercial drinking water brand to test, document, and report publicly on this.
🔘 We are the first commercial drinking water brand that is completely unfiltered or untreated to have verified ZERO NANOPLASTICS.
🔘 We have raised serious questions and concerns about how Oasis App derives their data and who actually analyzes and vets the data before being posted.
🔘 We cannot recommend Oasis App as a credible reference for consumer decisions about Hallstein, or about microplastics in bottled water more broadly, at this time.
🔘 There is enough information presented here for clients and consumers to differentiate from what is accurate and what is inaccurate.
🔘 Our job isn’t to tell you what to believe but to empower you with enough credible information to make a conscious decision on your own merit.
🔘 We consider this matter closed but we are continuing to do further source testing as well as make improvements to our packaging, not because of this incident, but because we are always trying to improve. Our standards always change, and they only go up. We challenge all participants in this space to do the same.
