Hydrogen is stellar and can‘t be produced, but recovered as an energy carrier by charging Water with Electricity or through Nature‘s Solar Energy Storage - Carbohydrates‘ decomposition plus separation of charged Hydrogen from its Carbon wrapper.
Mankind has already been being using Hydrogen-Energy, unfortunately without unwrapping, concurrently disposing CO2 & Water-Vapor to atmosphere - as if one directly swallows boxed cookies without unpacking and picking from the tray, reusable to store cooky baking replenishment for later relish consumption!
Neither is Hydrogen new, nor do we need to obsolete existing Energy Storage & distribution infrastructures. Recharged Water off used Hydrogen can be wrapped in Carbon separated when picking an equal Hydrogen amount from such circular Methane inventory.
Climate Neutrality mandates to manage anthropogenic Carbon & Water use within closed terrestrial loops! We just need to adapt how we use, regenerate and store Hydrogen within a multiple reuse packaging system. This enables Energy Security from volatile Electricity without linear exploitation of any finite planetary resources. It’s just a matter of Capacities in the right architecture. Unfortunately, regulatory trends promote, suppress, disregard, demonize or disqualify Technologies in ways unfit for a successful energy transformation.
