Takoyaki or "Fried Octopus" is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special moulded pan. It is filled with octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, spring onion, finishing with original Takoyaki sauce, Kewpie mayonnaise, dried seaweed and bonito flakes on top.
