Crazy to think our little Social Enterprise in collaboration with The Village CO. has reached this incredible milestone 🎉

👩‍🍼 350 new mums and their families nourished and fed for a full week at no cost!

👩‍🍼 350 new mums not having to cook whilst experiencing some of most stressful of circumstances imaginable!

👩‍🍼 350 mothers able to spend the first week not worrying about food security whilst bonding with their newborn!

👩‍🍼 350 new mums knowing they are being seen and cared for by the village that is their wider community!

Our program 'A Nourished Week' is one year old this month!

That's one year of providing new mothers in vulnerable situations with a week's worth of meals when they need it most.

Each month midwives throughout South Australian public hospitals and support services distribute sixty vouchers to those in need, and our team hit the road to deliver delicious meals directly to their door.

All of this wouldn't be possible without generous donations from the community and corporate sponsorships, but with an urgent need for funding for the year ahead, our crazy idea was to host an annual fundraising event with The Village Co, with some of the best culinary talent around ...

We've been working hard behind the scenes to organise this year's inaugural event ... now introducing Flourish!

As a very valued part of our community we would like to extend an invitation to this incredible event, and we'd love to see you there!

The Village Co's baby bag supply levels are critically low and we're needing your support to restock them!

Our Glynde carpark will be open from 8am - 1pm this Saturday as an emergency drop-off location (89 Lewis Rd, Glynde)

The Village CO. and a nourished week send over 60 baby bags to the most vulnerable new mums and their families as they leave hospital each and every month.

But with supplies so low we're in danger of not being able to GIVE these essential items to the maternity wards when they need them most.

Goods in urgent need in new condition:
Shampoo, Conditioner & Body wash
(100-500ml sizes)
Lip balm
Baby wraps/sleeping bags (newborn)
Newborn clothes (0000 and new)
Nappy cream
Hair brushes/combs
Toothpaste
Body wash
Baby socks and mittens
